michael’s new socks

I am finally done with Michael’s Bavarian Twisted Stitch socks. It is a pattern from Socks Soar on Two Circs and I knitted it with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in Blackwatch colorway. I’m not all that big on the colors, but this project made me realize that I like knitting with circs better than dpns. I also love the Knitpicks circs, they are nice and pointy!

What does bockstark mean (pronounced bok-shtark)? My crazy German friend, Matthias, made that word up to mean "really cool" and says that it is catching on in Garmisch. So I am helping him popularize the word! I thought if I ever opened a yarn store, I would call it "Bockstark Yarns".
