I am trying to make the so called scarf and I am confused on the first row.. I tried it several times but it does not look like the pattern.. It says to slip the stitch but knit into the back of it before dropping it from the left needle.. Could you explain this to me?? I don’t know whay I am having such a problem.. I am not a NEW knitter and can usually figure things out.. ??? Must be a Mind Blockage here…
I slipped it purlwise and the knit into the back as you would do for a increase.. ( knit into front and back) but I slipped and then knit in back???

What does bockstark mean (pronounced bok-shtark)? My crazy German friend, Matthias, made that word up to mean "really cool" and says that it is catching on in Garmisch. So I am helping him popularize the word! I thought if I ever opened a yarn store, I would call it "Bockstark Yarns". This blog is all about my projects, yarns and crazy ideas related to knitting and other crafts. Contact me at bockstark.knits(at)gmail(dot)com.
